Who’s Your Favorite Superhero?

Remember when you were a kid and every one of us had a Hero? Whether it was Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, or any other super incredible and totally awesome Superbeing; we all have had that special one that helped us throughout our childhood!

And probably still have one today!

What did we learn from our Superheros?

Most of us learned about the importance of telling the truth and about all the rights we have as American’s. But were there smaller, more subtle ideas that we picked-up while binge-watching Saturday morning cartoons?

Well, I sure did. And here’s just a sampling of what I learned…

• I learned…Taking care of your neighbor in times of need leads to really good karma in the end!
• …that being a superhero doesn’t take strength, it takes willpower and a huge heart!
• …offering yourself up for ridicule for someone who’s being bullied is one of the most selfless acts someone can do for another!
• …and love is truly stronger than hatred. Love can move mountains!

Who would you choose?

If I had to choose one superhero from my childhood that I could meet and maybe get an interview with, it would have to be Superman! I think I would ask questions like…’ ‘Do you like being who you are?’, or ‘Do you take vacations?’ or something like that.

No matter who you’d choose, every superhero would have their own unique answers! And that is what makes them so believable and real to us!
