Never Afraid, Never Alone

“In the calmness of the quiet of the afternoon…

Just inside the warm and inviting glow of the two oil lanterns
perched high upon a mighty oak tree branch...
Straightaway from our cabin so cozy and warm
A small brook of cold, crystal mountain water swished by
Sounding off with churning and splashing...
Over small pebbles an fallen tree limbs
The life-saving liquid rolls
And as such, reminding the village patrons
Of safety, sustinence and of sanctuary
That of which, this endless forest solitude lays upon us
Resting the veils of it's promised protection
Truly like a grandmothers blessing!
I ponder why other's become frightened...
Of this 'made-up' succlusion and invisible prison
For those humans this I say...
It is better to be alone and safe,
Than to be congested and cluttered
which means only death!
